Our Programs
We currently focus our work on connecting individuals with need to those who can give. We are deeply connected to Maasai families in remote communities in southern Narok County due to outreach work we perform in our roles with other organizations and the church. Because the region lacks basic electric, internet or road infrastructure, many families remain unaware of services that may be available to them. Poverty also makes it extremely difficult for them to connect with organizations who may be able to help. Currently we focus on three areas:
Crutches
We work to source crutches for individuals with less disabling challenges to increase their mobility and independence.
Wheelchairs
We partner with Partners for Care in Nairobi to get life-changing mobility carts to people living with disabilities, transforming lives by providing people independence and dignity.
Reconstructive Surgery
We partner with organizations like SmileTrain to connect Maasai individuals with severe burns or congenital disfigurements such as cleft lips and palates to free, life-changing surgeries.
